Who Will Enjoy OneClickFTP?

If you sell products on your web site which are downloaded.  Then you could use OneClickFTP.  Even more if are the developer of these products, and you make frequent changes to your download files, then OneClickFTP is a must for you.

I am developed OneClickFTP for the general public, but I was also in great need of this software.  I am a software developer, as you might have figured out, and my products are often updated with new bug fixes and new features.  The uploads are about 30mg in size.

I have been fighting with regular ftp clients for a long time.  Then I used a download/upload manager.  But still I could not solve two problems:

If the upload fails, the main file becomes corrupt until a successful upload is achieved.  And you know what?  Several times, the internet connection is having a bad day, and my files kept failing the upload time after time for hours.  So a  whole day goes by while my customers can't access my software on my web site.

The failed uploads have overwritten the original file on the web site.  So customers could only download half uploaded files.

To solve this problem, OneClickFTP uploads the file to a temporary file first.  Only if the upload succeeds, does it replace rename it to the real file name. 

The result of this is that as long as the upload fails, the original download is still live and available to the users.

Second, after the download is complete, OneClickFTP goes ahead and redownloads the file to compare it byte-by-byte to ensure the upload was 100% successful.

Not once, did I upload a file, only to get customers complaints some hours or days later that the file is corrupt.  And believe me, I use the latest hardware, latest software and latest internet connection; this is my business.  So I created OneClickFTP with these two safety features.

Another thing that was annoying, is to find the right upload files and the right target ftp directory each time.  These programs, I always need to reupload as I make changes to the software.  So why go through the hassle resetting and reselecting all these time and again each time I just need to reupload.
